"Art tends to mirror our deepest fears and aspirations,
hopes, and losses.
It is a door to infinite possibilities."
--Dr. June Singer-
As Claude Monet once said: "I'm not performing miracles; I'm using up and wasting a lot of paint..."
For me, Art represents the unspoken emotions, the deep insecurities, the lingering deceptions and aspirations, the needs, and the wants as it is uniquely positioned to inspire and move people, incite new questions, and provoke curiosity, excitement, and outrage.
It opens up a world of colors, shapes, impressions, and feelings. With every painting I put out there, the thought remains that I could have done it better. There is no harsher critic than the artist himself/herself.
Art is an important part of who I am, it represents a way of communicating, sharing a love of nature, dreams, memories, humanity, and simply one's creative power.
May the creative force remain with you Always!!
I have no desire to fit in
No plans to walk with the crowd.
I have my own mind,
My own heart,
My own soul.
I am me
It has taken me years
To realize how important that is.

I am no bird;
and no net ensnares me:
I am a free human being
with an independent will.

Caminante, son tus huellas
el camino y nada más;
Caminante, no hay camino,
se hace camino al andar.
Al andar se hace el camino,
y al volver la vista atrás
se ve la senda que nunca
se ha de volver a pisar.
Caminante no hay camino
sino estelas en la mar.
