You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep Spring from coming.
Podrán cortar todas las flores, pero no podrán detener la primavera
Spring is in the air. I am sure many of you have seen the videos of the spring breakers on many Florida beaches. Ignoring the recommendations of the WHO, the CDC, the local governments, they assemble and become, therefore, a significant transmission risk group.
This is not only about you! We understand that you planned this trip “for months,” well, news flash, we do not always get what we want when we want it. We get it. It’s annoying. You came here to party (well mostly to get drunk and leave a mess behind you – we know – we’ve seen it before), and you find our bars and restaurants closed or at minimum capacity. Tough? I am pretty sure that if you start seriously thinking about it, you would realize that staying healthy is more important than all else. It is just one spring break. There will be many others.
This thing is everywhere, and it touches everyone. The young, the old, the healthy, and the not so healthy, all face the possibility of catching it. Some will end up without symptoms (asymptomatic), while others will test positive. There will be negative results too ….the fact remains, we are all in this together. If you have been exposed, have symptoms, or are sick, you can pass it on to others. It is imperative to be careful and, let me repeat it, to keep your distance. Don’t forget things are moving, and countries are searching for possible solutions while waiting for the vaccine. Please do your part. Help to keep us all safe and healthy (or as healthy as possible).
